DIFC is primarily a commercial district, but it has a growing residential population in Gate Village, ICD Brookfield Place, and the surrounding towers. Most of our DIFC clients, though, don't actually live in DIFC. They live in Downtown, Business Bay, Jumeirah, or along Sheikh Zayed Road and want a trainer who comes to their home, not their office.
If you live in Downtown Dubai, your trainer meets you at your apartment before or after work. Many DIFC professionals book 5:30-6:30am sessions at their residence, train, shower, and arrive at Gate Village by 8am. No gym commute, no wasted time, no fighting for equipment at a busy facility.
For the smaller number of DIFC residents, your trainer works in your apartment or building gym. ICD Brookfield and the newer DIFC residences have solid gym facilities. Older buildings near Gate Avenue have more limited setups, so your trainer brings all necessary equipment and adapts the session to whatever space is available.
During cooler months from October through April, Za'abeel Park and the DIFC Gate Avenue open areas work for outdoor conditioning sessions. Summer training always moves indoors.
DIFC Gate Avenue itself has limited fitness options relative to the number of professionals working in the district.
