First time using the services of a PT and was not disappointed. I liked that the team spent time up front making sure they were clear on my training goals, and that they came to my condo gym which was really convenient. Layton, my PT, was excellent. Super communication, always on time, introduced me to a whole menu of new exercises targeted at my training goals.

Dubai runs fast. Your personal yoga trainer helps you slow down with breathwork, guided meditation, and calming sequences that lower cortisol and clear your mind after long workdays.

Sitting at a desk all day takes a toll. Your yoga instructor builds a program around spinal alignment, core activation, and targeted stretches that reduce chronic pain and fix rounded posture over time.

Whether you're stiff from the gym or just from sitting too much, your yoga trainer designs sessions that open up your joints, improve range of motion, and make everyday movement feel easier.

Yoga builds body awareness that changes your relationship with food and movement. Combined with consistent practice, it supports healthy weight management and body confidence over time.

Trouble sleeping? Restless nights? Your yoga instructor uses restorative poses, breathing techniques, and nervous system regulation to help you wind down, recover faster, and sleep deeply.

Safe, gentle yoga for expecting and new mothers. Your certified prenatal yoga trainer designs sessions that reduce discomfort, strengthen the pelvic floor, and support your body before and after birth.

Meet the Founder
3x Singapore International Triathlon Champion • Former Professional Footballer (Germany)
Founded Athleaders in 2019 with a single mission: make fitness results inevitable for every client in Dubai. With 15+ years of experience, a master's degree in business, and certifications in training, nutrition, and coaching, Bernhard built a system that combines structured training with personalised support. Today, Athleaders is ranked the No.1 Fitness Company for four consecutive years (2023-2026) by expat forums and popular magazines, and our yoga programs are growing faster than any other service.
Sign up for private yoga training with Athleaders and get a certified personal yoga instructor at your doorstep. Male and female yoga trainers available 7 days a week. From AED 235/hr.
Your instructor arrives at your door at the scheduled time. No rushing to a studio, no finding parking. Just a calm start.
The first 10 minutes are a conversation. Your yoga trainer asks about your body: where you feel tight, any injuries or pain, how you sleep, what stresses you out, what you want from yoga. This isn't a form to fill out. It's a real conversation that shapes everything that follows.
Next comes a short assessment. Your instructor watches how you move through a few basic postures to gauge your flexibility, balance, and areas that need attention. From there, they build your first session on the spot.
Sessions typically run 60 minutes. Expect a mix of guided postures, breathwork, and stretching. Your instructor corrects your alignment in real time, something that never happens in a group class where the teacher is watching 20 people at once.
After the session, you'll get a short self-practice sequence to follow on your own before the next session. Most clients notice a difference in how they feel after just one session: calmer, looser, and sleeping better that night.
"I was nervous because I hadn't done yoga since a random class in university about 10 years ago. Keira just sat down with me on the mat and asked what was going on with my body. I told her about my lower back and the stiffness in my shoulders from working at a desk all day. She didn't push me into anything weird. We just moved through some gentle stuff, and by the end I could actually turn my neck properly for the first time in months. I slept like a rock that night."

1. Starting with a group class when you've never done yoga before.
Group classes move at the instructor's pace, not yours. If you can't touch your toes, you're stuck watching everyone else flow while you struggle with the basics. A private yoga trainer builds from where you actually are.
2. Doing yoga from YouTube videos without alignment correction.
Bad form doesn't just slow your progress. It can cause injury. Most common: lower back strain from incorrect forward folds and shoulder impingement from wrong plank alignment. You don't know what you don't know until someone watches you move.
3. Treating yoga as "just stretching."
Done right, yoga builds real strength, improves your posture, reduces chronic pain, and regulates your nervous system. It's not a warm-up for "real exercise." For many of our clients, it becomes their primary training method.
4. Quitting after two weeks because "nothing is happening."
Flexibility changes are slow. You won't notice them day to day. But clients who stick with 2-3 sessions per week for 6-8 weeks consistently report less back pain, better sleep, and noticeably improved range of motion. Your instructor tracks these changes monthly so you can see the progress even when it feels invisible.
5. Trying to practice in Dubai's summer heat outdoors.
From June through September, outdoor yoga is dangerous. Temperatures hit 45C+ with extreme humidity. That's why at-home yoga with a personal instructor works so well in Dubai. You train in air-conditioned comfort year-round, and during the cooler months (November to March), your instructor can take sessions to parks or villa gardens if you prefer.
Our personal yoga trainers cover 40+ residential communities across Dubai. Here's where most of our yoga clients train.
In Dubai Marina, JBR, and JLT, sessions usually happen in apartment living rooms or building gyms. These areas have high-rise apartments with compact spaces, and our instructors know how to design effective sessions in smaller areas.
Dubai Hills Estate, Arabian Ranches, and Emirates Living are villa communities where clients often train in their gardens, covered terraces, or dedicated home gym spaces. Early morning sessions before the school run are popular here.
Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, and DIFC attract busy professionals who book lunch-hour or post-work sessions. Building gyms in towers like Burj Vista, The Address, and Executive Towers work well for private yoga.
Palm Jumeirah and Jumeirah villa residents often prefer sunrise or sunset garden sessions during the cooler months, switching to indoor sessions from June through September when temperatures exceed 45C.
Mirdif, Al Barsha, Motor City, and Sports City have a mix of villa and apartment clients. We've seen growing demand for female yoga instructors in these communities, particularly from Emirati families who value privacy and at-home training.
Don't see your area? We likely cover it. Call us at +971 52 558 8325 and we'll confirm availability.
To give you an idea: Priya in Dubai Hills does sunrise yoga in her villa garden three mornings a week before her kids wake up. Tom and his wife in JBR do partner sessions on Saturday mornings in their apartment living room. And Fatima in Mirdif trains with a female instructor twice a week in her home gym, with sessions timed around her family's schedule. Completely different setups, but that's the point. Your instructor adapts to your life, not the other way around.
Athleaders was founded in 2019 by Bernhard Lieder, a 3x Singapore International Triathlon Champion and former professional footballer from Germany. The company started with personal training and expanded into yoga after clients kept asking for it. Yoga is now one of our fastest-growing services, with demand increasing every quarter since we launched it.
We operate across Dubai and Singapore, with 245+ five-star Google reviews as of March 2026. Ranked the No.1 Fitness Company in Dubai for four consecutive years (2023-2026) by expat forums and popular magazines.
Private yoga sessions start from AED 235 per hour. Group yoga from AED 122 per person per hour. We offer packages of 12, 25, or 50 sessions with flexible scheduling seven days a week, from early mornings to late evenings. Both male and female yoga instructors are available.
Looking for something beyond yoga? Athleaders also offers personal training in Dubai with a dedicated trainer, clinical dietitian, and accountability coach. Many clients combine yoga sessions with strength training for a complete fitness program. We also have female personal trainers, prenatal training, and personal training for seniors.
Yoga wasn't part of the original plan. But we kept hearing the same thing from clients, especially women and people over 40: "I love my training sessions, but I need something for the days I'm not lifting. Something that calms me down." Bernhard started getting asked about it so often that he brought on a couple of certified yoga instructors to test it out in early 2025. Within three months, yoga had a waitlist. It turns out Dubai has no shortage of yoga studios, but almost nobody was offering private, at-home yoga with the same structure and accountability that Athleaders brings to personal training. That gap is what we fill.
